I did not understand anything. All I saw was a beautiful lady. Everyone where sharing this link on facebook and instagram, I just had to see watch everyone was sharing this for. The lady who was on the cover of one of my favorite magazine Vanity Fair, was Bruce Jenner. Now he is a she, and named Caitlyn Jenner. For me she was totally unrecognizable. I salute her for all her openness and honesty, it must have taken an incredible amount of courage and strength. And look how beautiful:

“If I was lying on my deathbed and I had kept this secret and never ever did anything about it, I would be lying there saying, ‘You just blew your entire life. You never dealt with yourself,’ and I don’t want that to happen.” – Caitlyn Jenner

I can imagine that Vanity Fair beats record of reading number doing this cover, and with good reason. This is really a cover with message. I like how we can use fashion and media to send out message to the world and society. I hope and believe that this is a movement of something. What it is, I’m unsure of. But I can imagine that it will contribute to more openness about taboo specific topics, less prejudiced, more perspectives and deeper insight. I look forward to the magazine stands on the shelves, and to read the 22-page-long interview. It must have been a tough job for the journalist, I can imagine.

What do you think? Are you going to buy the magazine?
