Jean-Michel is one of my absolute favorite artists. I love the way how he saw the world, and how he gets it up in every painting. It fascinates and inspires me that he painted and drew so much. As 27 years he drawed 1,000 images. I’ve always had this kind of fear if I ever gave out anything, and it is expected a sequel or something that will be just as well that pressure stops me. Something I think happens with many artists. But he played out freely of everything he took in of the world, gathered his thoughts and made masterpiece based on it. That’s brave.
I feel his art is very relevant today. I also see many similarities from his lifestyle in the 80s to our generation epoch.
Jean-Michel also carries with him a very strong life story. And just him, as a person, inspires me. He was a man of justice, and found not to be talked condescending to. He followed his dream and had 100% faith in himself all the way. He was also an incredibly inteligent human being. He understood things that he could´t just spit out in the air, it needed a painting to explain what he understands and how he saw things. Personally I think when you can´t put words on what you understand, that’s when you use art to speak. To communicate.
You have to see this documentary of him. Really, just see it.

I am no tradtional young lady. Whenever it comes to tradition, actually. This year the idea was to wear a menswear suit, after been inspired by my journalism exam, where we should write a paper on gender boundaries. Since the 17th may is a celebration of our constitution, I thought I should «demonstrate» by wearing a menswear suit. To demonstrate the gender boundaries, but also to show the empower of clothing. Because it really has. For decades and decades we all have used clothing as a tool. To express ourself, what we want to be and not want to be. Just look at the silhouette change from 1915 to 1920. Already back then women where using menswear suits. The women’s movement and liberation, when the women used cigarettes as a symbol of freedom and independence. Just look back, it´s all there. Look at Jaden Smith for example, dressing up in skirts and women´s clothing. More stores releases unisex collection. Look at our community today. I feel we are moving towards a change, after been standing still for a very long time.
I didn’t end up in a menswear suit. Because; 1. I didn’t have one. 2. I could´t afford a new one (if I still wanted to eat rest of the month.). So I ended up in my beautiful Sandro dress, which I got from my good friend, Ammera, for my birthday. I been waiting for perfect occasion to take the dress for her maiden ride. And 17th may, was that day. Happy Birthday, Norway.

Pale skin is about to get darker, my hair lighter. The night gets longer. The days even get longer. And I love it.

Okey, so it just realized when I was writing where my outfit was from, that I must be a pretty good ambassador for the store I am working in, since everything I am wearing is from my store. Haha. But finally I can wear the spring collection outsite. I still love to wear all black everything, but I really believe in colors for the future. Colors means health, and I just love to play around mixing colors. And how this yellow and pink color blend in together and make my eyes pop!
Happy Weekend Everyone!

So since last time, I took my swag on, found a scissor and cut off my sweater and moved to a new block. I am so happy and I have been so busy being happy with my real life. So busy that I almost forgot about the internet (that we used to say in the 90s, and as we say today: social media.). And I am sorry about that. It has been a lot lately. I can´t wait to show you guys my new apartment. I have moved to a loft apartment (What a dream, right?). For now I think all of this X1000 photos of me is enough. You know, I thought I should make up for me since I´ve been so disconnected.
